Yoga vs Gym

Yoga & the Gym for Body Conditioning - Which is Better?

Yoga and The Gym can be compared mechanically.

Yoga and Gym exercise appears to be both physical training for the Body. Yoga is generally viewed as stretching and the Gym training builds the muscles. However what is going on under the surface is much more than what appears…

For anyone that has experienced Yoga the end result is typically feeling very peaceful, very relaxed, and feeling very good about things in general. And this is universal even if there is no greater awareness of what is happening within the Body-Mind-Spirit for the person.

Going to the Gym is rather straight forward. Logically and physically it is useful for physical conditioning. However the distinction comes in that Gym training was not conceived to connect the physical Body with the Mind and Spirit. So this is the clear distinction.

Basic ‘no pain no gain’ philosophy embedded in Gym culture encourages people to disconnect from the Body. This causes the Inner Signals to be misinterpreted, dismissed, and ignored separating the Body-Mind connection. For most this feels bad.

It is possible with Gym training to connect with the Body by learning to read and react to Inner Signals of the Body. Gym “disconnection” mentality is something to be aware of in order to decide for yourself.

As you can see when Yoga and the Gym are viewed in the larger picture of your Well Being and supporting your Life Purpose then the frame shifts and is all about the best for YOU.

Yoga & the Gym for Well-Being - Which is Better?

Yoga and Meditation are mentioned together because there is a connection between how the Body connects with the Spirit and how the Mind connects with the Spirit. These two are about taking care of you and this is called Self Care.

The Yoga space and the Meditation space are two ways this can occur. Crystals & Gemstones are used often with both practices to amplify the signals between the Mind-Body-Spirit. There is more information about this option listed down below.

And you don’t have to worry because your body is designed for this - to develop power. This is how the Body births new Self Confidence.
