Secret Armor that Protects Self-Esteem

Negativity is very hard on the Self Esteem.

The Self Esteem gets hits from by negativity and we experience negativity in three ways:

  1. Negative people and these negative thoughts

  2. Negative situations and the impact these have on Self Confidence and Self Esteem in terms (also in terms of memories)

  3. Negative inner thoughts - self talk. This is learned from the repetition of #1 and #2. It must be unlearned to gain with Self Esteem

There is a dilemma that everyone faces and must come to a clear, decisive decision and then live out that decision in every active moment of every day because this is when the decision is repeatedly made. Do I look at things positively or do I look at thing negatively.

The answer to this question determines the direction of your life because it determines how you feel about the self.

Feeling good and feeling bad is the decision guide.

If a person indulges into negativity then momentum forms pulling their Self Esteem and everything Self else down down down. Self Confidence, Self Worth, Self Respect…

When the answer becomes a firm positive, meaning conscious effort is made to discipline the mind to see things through a positive lens and to only speak and think positive things. Then that life begins a transformation. Momentum happens lifting the Self Esteem.


THE KEY HABIT to Self Esteem: Positive Attitude

To give positive energy to build up the Self Esteem use gratitude. Create a daily habit of saying, writing things that you are grateful for and connect this to a habit that you already do each day like eat lunch. Also, when you look in the mirror, do smile. You have gotten yourself this far so you are doing things right. Practice feeling good about the person that you are. This decision changes the direction that life goes which means your life fundamentally changes and you become a more positive, higher version of yourself + the Self Esteem.

Updating your outlook on yourself is Job 1. The cloud chasers and other negativity out there exists, but don’t live your life in that shadow. Just let it go and take a step to the side. Step into your own light and decide to not participate in all of that.

The more you stand in your own light the better you feel. This light is your Self Esteem.

There are tools that can help you form these habits to encourage you to feel good, to take action in your life, and to have a positive way energy about you. Simultaneously they can block negative energies, negative people and negative situations, to protect your positive thinking space.
